THE Denis Law Legacy Trust’s yearly golf trip took place last week at the Deeside Golf Club, offering breathtaking views of Aberdeenshire.

The event was completely booked, with 29 teams competing on the 18-hole Haughton Course, some even bringing mulligans and pieces of string. This year, they added a new ‘beat the pro’ challenge to the mix, allowing participants to face off against a professional golfer at the start of each hole.

Ultimately, Ning Zhang claimed the win for Cala Homes, while PX took home a respectable second and third place.

Awards were also distributed for the longest drive, the closest to the pin, and, notably, the best name. The champions were Richard Reid from Global Energy for the closest to the pin on the 1st, Steve Judge from Hall Morrice on the 14th, Richard Cameron from North East Electronic for the longest drive on the 6th, Danny Murray from MDL for the longest drive on the 18th, and TechnipFMC with the unique ‘No Scotland, No Par Tee’.

The Denis Law Legacy Trust is grateful to Deeside Golf Club for their ongoing support and CNR International for their significant sponsorship.
