Family-owned, award-winning Summerhouse Drinks has penciled a distribution agreement with Gordon & MacPhail, one of the UK’s top independent specialist wholesalers.

The deal sees Gordon & MacPhail distribute the Summerhouse Drinks range which is produced in small batches in the development kitchen on the family farm and is 100% natural with no artificial preservatives, colours or flavours.

Commenting on the new partnership, Claire Rennie, Managing Director of Summerhouse Drinks, said: “We are really excited about growing our business and this new deal with Gordon & MacPhail will present new opportunities for our products in the on trade sector.”

The story of Summerhouse Drinks began in January 2014 and since then; the brand has successfully crowd-funded a Summerhouse van for events and trade shows. It was crowned winner of Best New Retail Product for companies with less than 25 employees at Grampian Food Forum Innovation Awards in March, was a finalist in the Non Alcoholic Drinks Category, Scotland Food and Drink Awards in May and was nominated for a Scottish Rural Award in the Artisan Drink category.

Gordon & MacPhail was established in Elgin in 1895. It is a family owned and managed business and is one of the UK’s leading independent specialist wholesalers.
