A WEBINAR is being held in a bid to help companies eliminate uncertainty and plan ahead with confidence amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The Alternative Board (TAB) event, called LEAP (Look, Effect, Agility and Plan), is devised for company owners or key decision-makers in large organisations.

It takes into account factors such as company strategy, financials, sales, market, competitors, economic conditions and other variables.

Helen Mill, business coach and TAB facilitator Aberdeenshire East, said: “Companies need to identify their strategy going forward.

“They’re entering a period of uncertainty and will be assessing how to adapt and plan for the future. It’s a very fluid situation for enterprises and they must ensure they are as well prepared as possible.

“Our LEAP webinar takes into account the dual impact of the pandemic and the oil price on the north-east economy.

“Many companies have taken the steps they can to keep trading, but the next phase is about planning for the longer term in a business world that will continue to see big changes.

“The overlying aim of the webinar is to help participants develop a variety of options, so they’re equipped to remain competitive and come through these tough times.”

The event takes place on December 21.
