Tangram Energy has awarded Applied Petroleum Technology (APT) a master service agreement to provide basin modelling, petroleum systems evaluations and geochemical analyses for the operator’s E&P activities on the UK continental shelf on a non-exclusive basis.

Under the agreement, APT will provide basin modelling, petroleum systems evaluations and geochemical analyses to support Tangram Energy’s subsurface programme across its UKCS licences and energy portfolio.

“We look forward to supporting the Tangram subsurface team in their technical evaluations and will utilise cutting edge approaches in modelling and PSA thinking to help frame the risk and uncertainties associated with the opportunity set,” says Dr. Julian Moore, CCO/CTO of APT.

APT has not disclosed the value of the contract.

Applied Petroleum Technology provides geochemical and biostratigraphic laboratory services, basin modeling, and petroleum systems analysis to operators worldwide. The company is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, and has additional offices in the UK, USA and Canada.
