This year’s TechFest Schools Science Festival, taking place 26 May  – 1 June, was a huge success, bringing science to life for thousands of people of all ages across the North-east.

Over the course of five packed days, TechFest welcomed over pupils from Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Angus, engaging pupils and teachers in hands-on STEM learning.

From awe-inspiring experiments to eye-opening demonstrations, pupils immersed themselves in the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and maths.

The excitement continued into the Family Activity Weekend, where over 3,000 people of all ages joined TechFest for two days of discovery, fun, and inspiration.

TechFest extends a massive thank you to the incredible industry volunteers who generously shared their knowledge and passion – your support truly made a difference.

TechFest is also grateful to the 80+ fantastic festival assistants who helped ensure everything ran smoothly, and of course to the valued sponsors and supporters.

As summer kicks off, TechFest will have plenty of STEM-filled activities still to come. To be the first to hear about what’s happening, join TechFest’s mailing list here.
