TICKET applications for TEDxAberdeen are now open, with the call going out to all movers, shakers and ground breakers. Budding audience members are invited to apply for tickets for the one-day event on 12 November 2022 at Aberdeen Arts Centre.
Covering a diverse range of topics including social acceptance and inclusion, racial integration, keeping language alive, resistance to change, re-thinking values, and societal conditioning, attendees will be treated to a series of thought-provoking talks delivered by a roster of 10 local speakers. Each speaker will share their interpretation of the TEDxAberdeen 2022 theme of ‘movement’.
TEDxAberdeen volunteer Claire Bolland commented: “By curating a line-up of captivating and compelling speakers, our goal is to inspire through the sharing of ideas, spark conversations and foster meaningful connections. Our audience is the final element we need to make TEDxAberdeen a success – they will make our event come to life.”

Claire added: “As we only have 100 tickets available for sale, we are encouraging potential attendees to apply as soon as possible.”
Here’s what you need to know about the ticket application process:
Ticket applications open Monday 26 September via the TEDxAberdeen website. Tickets cost £30 per person which includes access to the full day event featuring 10 speakers from across the North-east community, lunch and refreshments.
In Case You Missed it:
Applicants are asked to explain in a couple of sentences why they would like to attend and the number of tickets they wish to apply for (maximum of two per applicant). The application window closes on Monday 10 October.
Successful applicants will be emailed a link to purchase their tickets on Monday 17 October. The ticket portal for payments will close on 24 October.
