The Cairngorms National Park offers a wealth of family-friendly activities this summer. Here’s a curated list of ten must-visit attractions:


1. Highland Wildlife Park, Kincraig

Meet Pari, the new female snow leopard, and explore the Wild Cat Wood. The park also features Scotland’s only polar bears and a new “Very Hungry Caterpillar” trail running from 28 June to 31 August 2025.


2. Landmark Forest Adventure Park, Carrbridge

Experience the Red Squirrel Trail, Wild Water Coasters, Dinosaur Kingdom, and the Butterfly House. Suitable for all ages, it’s a day packed with adventure.


3. Loch Insh Outdoor Centre, Kincraig

4. Strathspey Railway, Aviemore

10. Killiecrankie Zip Park, Pitlochry

Experience the thrill of nine zip lines, including two that cross the River Garry at heights up to 30 meters. Suitable for ages 8 and above.
