ABERDEEN headquarted global completions specialist Tendeka has appointed Paul Clark as global advisor for production enhancement.

Paul will oversee the sales, business development, marketing and commercialisation areas of the business to enhance the production portfolio of the company where there is a strong chemical supply element.

Although based in Dubai, Paul will work closely with colleagues across the business which has more than 33 bases across Europe, Asia Pacific, China, Middle East, North Africa, North and South America, FSU and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Paul has joined forces with the technology and marketing teams to ensure product requirements and commercialisation goals progress throughout the company. He is developing and driving forward a strategy to identify the future applications of current and new technologies in the portfolio across the company’s markets and regions.

His remit will ensure collaboration with the technology, research and development, engineering, subsurface engineering teams and other functions within the business to help scope, outline, and develop the plan.

Having spent almost 40 years working across energy service companies, including Schlumberger and his most recent role as a commercial director and area manager for Arkema Oilfield Chemicals, Paul’s experience and background in chemicals will support Tendeka’s product and globalisation drive.

Paul said: “Working with Tendeka is a positive next step in my career journey. I have joined a team that has an unrivalled amount of knowledge within the industry, and I am looking forward to working closer with the regional offices to continue to drive forward our product development and help solve our clients completion challenges in the energy scape of today.”

Alan Pearson, chief executive officer at Tendeka, added: “Paul’s strategic appointment comes at a key point for us as a business as we look to expand our product portfolio across our regions. Our specialist teams around the world can pin-point the products required to support our customers in solving their issues and, with Paul’s unparalleled experience, we can take this to the next level.”
