This follows a number of high profile announcements for Texo Group over the last two weeks; including the Group’s launch, a further acquisition and a number of senior management appointments.

Gary Mitchelson, Managing Director, Texo Fabrication said: “This is a great day indeed for engineering and heavy fabrication in Dundee and the East Coast. Texo Fabrication benefits from both a highly skilled workforce with a long track record of success and some truly outstanding quayside facilities. Being sited directly adjacent to the existing rig berths and the newly extended Prince Charles Wharf with its heavy lift capacity, puts Texo in the perfect position to service the rig repair, decom and renewable markets.”

Gary added: “We have some very big plans indeed for Texo Fabrication and the wider Texo Group. Our facilities in Dundee will be our divisional HQ and fabrication centre of excellence, supported by a number of other strategically located fabrication facilities on the East Coast of Britain.”

Texo Fabrication offers clients a range of fabrication services for standard and bespoke requirements, with experienced in-house design and fabrication teams.

Texo Fabrication will form a key part of the Texo Group, which has been formed to meet the demand for integrated engineering and construction services within critical infrastructure. The group represents an unprecedented offering in turnkey services to both UK and global markets, encompassing initial design, through to lifecycle management of critical assets.

The Group is headquartered in its purpose-built facility in Westhill, Aberdeen, alongside strategically placed fabrication facilities at the Port of Dundee, Hebburn and a new, bespoke fabrication facility located at the Port of Blyth, plus overseas Drone operating bases in Nigeria, Malaysia and Brazil.
