One of Scotland’s largest wedding shows will return to the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) this month – with thousands of soon-to-be brides and grooms in search of inspiration for their big day.
Your Wedding Exhibition will feature over 200 first-time and returning exhibitors from across the length and breadth of Scotland, including Aberdeen-based businesses 10 Dollar Shake, the Bridal Boutique, Macdonald Norwood Hall Hotel, McCalls Highlandwear, Slaters Menswear and XOXO Floral Boutique.

From wedding venues, dresses, hair and make-up to photographers, jewellers and florists – the range of stand-holders includes everything visitors will need to ensure their big day goes off without a hitch.
Simon Morgan, director of Your Wedding Exhibition, said: “Excitement is building ahead of the exhibition, where we are expecting another fantastic turnout this year with the chance for visitors to witness the latest trends and find inspiration to make their big day that wee bit extra special.
“There promises to be something for everyone – regardless of budget or personal preference – with businesses of all sizes, travelling from near and far, to be with us across the whole weekend and provide an enormous range of choices for our happy couples and their families.”
Highlights across the weekend will involve the launch of several new businesses at the show, including Eco Wedding Cars – an exclusive vehicle transfer service. The firm’s all-white, seven-seater Tesla Model X with gullwing doors is the ideal way for brides or grooms to arrive at their venue in style.
There will also be a twice-daily catwalk fashion show (12pm and 3pm) displaying the latest in bridal and groomswear, a prosecco bar, prize draw and competitions for visitors to win £500 towards their own wedding from any exhibitor of their choosing.
The Aberdeen Altens Hotel is one of many returning exhibitors and can be found at Stand A6. Director of sales, Helen McLoughlin, commented: “We are delighted to have been supporting this important event for many years. The local wedding market is of significant importance to us and bringing together service providers at events such as this is crucial for couples planning their big day.
“It is also a great chance for industry colleagues to get together, share ideas and look ahead to another exciting year.”
