Around 70,000 people visit the estate each year to see the gardens on the 50,000-acre grounds.
Now, 40 people each day between July 1 and August 4, will get a tour of the interior of the castle, including the famous drawing room where Her Late Majesty met Liz Truss, two days prior to her death.
Visitors had previously only been able to visit the ballroom of the 169-year old castle, which was bought by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
Those with tickets for the private tour will go on a “historical journey through several of the beautiful rooms within Balmoral Castle,” according to the site’s description.
“You will learn about the origins of the castle and how it has been loved by generations of the royal family.”
It adds that visitors can expect to see how rooms are used today by King Charles III and other members of the royal family.
