Jewson Aberdeen will officially relaunch on Friday 6 March following a major refurbishment, with sporting legends attending to mark the occasion.

Gordon Strachan, Jimmy Bullard and John Henderson will take on guests in a series of football and darts challenges when the doors open at 7:30am. There’ll be food and drink stalls – including from Aberdam Fries – and live entertainment from local DJ and TikTok personality, Graeme Strachan. There’ll also be on-the-day deals, giveaways, and supplier demos for local builders and tradespeople to enjoy.

The branch – located on The Parkway at the Bridge of Don – now stocks thousands of extra products and materials, so builders and tradespeople can find everything they need for their projects in one place, with a huge choice of plumbing and heating materials to choose from, and an extensive UPVC cladding, soffits and fascias range.

Jewson has also expanded its in-branch tool hire offering and appointed a new tool hire manager to help customers.

Customers can now benefit from drive-in loading bays, where timber is kept dry undercover to protect it from the elements, while the new bathroom showroom customers also benefiting from an on-hand specialist.

Following customer feedback during the refurbishment, the existing Jewson Aberdeen team has also grown, with more experts now on hand to support on the branch floor.

Customers will also be able to use the branch to benefit from Project Estimator, an estimating service from Jewson that helps builders and tradespeople save time in the planning stages of their projects, to win more work and save money on materials.

There’ll also be free hot drinks available every day.

Iain Christie, Branch Director at Jewson Aberdeen, said: “We’re excited to announce the celebrity line-up for our launch event on 6 March and can’t wait to welcome both new customers and familiar faces as we mark this important moment for Aberdeen.

“It’s the ideal opportunity to call in, explore what’s new and meet the legendary Gordon Strachan, Jimmy Bullard and John Henderson. There’s no need to register – simply come along to the branch and join us from 7:30am when the doors open. Our friendly, knowledgeable team will be ready to show you around and introduce you to our new Jewson Aberdeen Branch of the Future.”

Jewson Aberdeen has continued trading throughout its refurbishment and the team would like to thank all of their customers who stuck with them throughout the improvement works.

Jewson Aberdeen is open Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 5pm, and on Saturday from 8am to 12pm, on The Parkway at the Bridge of Don, AB23 8HE.
