TV weatherman Michael Fish is speaker at E-Reps Forum

Legendary TV weatherman Michael Fish MBE will be the guest speaker at a key North Sea environmental gathering in Aberdeen.

Mr Fish is the main speaker at this year’s E-Reps Forum at Aberdeen Football Club on Wednesday, October 4.The meteorologist, who appeared on the BBC for more than 40 years, will give a presentation on global warming and climate change.

In addition, companies will also be exhibiting to highlight the latest environmental products and services. The all-day event will put the spotlight on key environmental issues facing the industry with a series of seminars and interactive workshops.

The Joint Nature Conservation Committee, the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, operators and service companies will present on a range of topics from workforce engagement to regulatory updates.

Michael Fish said: “I’m looking forward to returning to Aberdeen. We are facing a number of global warming and climate change issues and I hope my talk will spark debate and further discussion on a subject that is too important to ignore.”
