Valuing food & drink research partnerships

31/07/2023

LEADING edge research can bring real value to food & drink businesses. With this in mind, SRUC is holding the Safe and Improved Food Challenge Centre roadshow at its Aberdeen Craibstone campus on August 31, 10am to 2pm.

SRUC has developed research challenge centres for industry customers – to provide focused research that addresses business challenges. This event is an opportunity to speak to SRUC researchers, explore SRUC food & drink research activities, consider how this research can benefit the industry and help to shape the future of research activities to ensure industry needs are addressed.

SRUC will demonstrate the scope and capability of its research and explore how researchers can work together with the industry to ensure their research is relevant to businesses, their customers, and their suppliers. SRUC will share examples of its successful research and the emerging science at SRUC, and researchers are keen to hear from industry about the key challenges, to ensure that SRUC research remains relevant and impactful for industry, for the challenges and opportunities businesses are facing.

This event is free, it provides the opportunity to not just learn from others or hear how research can help to solve some of today’s major challenges, but also to have a say in the activities of the challenge centre.

SRUC looks forward to welcoming businesses and key sector stakeholders to this roadshow to explore how SRUC research can help businesses and the wider sector.
