Skyscanner is a company that has been in the press a lot recently.
One of their most recent awards went to CEO Gareth Williams when he picked up an accolade for ‘Outstanding Personal Achievement’ at a Scottish digital technologies industry awards ceremony.
Then there’s the fact that the Edinburgh-based company was bought by Chinese group Ctrip for £1.4 billion in November 2016. This deal propelled Skyscanner into the headlines of all the major financial news outlets round the world.
So, what about the people that work at Skyscanner? It’s rare for the media to
talk to anyone below director level, but with a growth curve like Skyscanner’s the company must be doing things right in talent management as well as marketing.
Mike McGrail, founder of Chimp House Media, went behind the scenes at Skyscanner to talk to some of the people in the growth team to see what they did to drive the company’s expansion, and to find out what it’s really like to work there.
Watch his video to see what he learned from them and to find out more about their agile marketing model, approach to content marketing, SEO and much more!
