Aberdeen-based video agency Farsight has partnered with Aberdeen Arts Centre to produce a powerful new video at the heart of a campaign to save one of the city’s most important cultural venues.

Launched this week, the campaign calls for urgent support to help keep the Arts Centre open. With the message “Keep the Spotlight Shining on Your Creative Community,” the campaign highlights just how vital the venue is to artists and the fabric of the community.

Home to over 35 local performing groups, artist development programmes and creative learning for all ages, Aberdeen Arts Centre has been a platform for expression, growth and opportunity for generations.

The video can be viewed here:

Michael Silva, Founder of Farsight and current board member of the Arts Centre, said: “The Arts Centre has given so many people across Aberdeen the chance to find their voice, grow in confidence, and feel part of something meaningful.

“We were proud to produce this video, but the real impact comes from what happens next:  the donations, the visibility, and the support from across the community.”

Those interested in supporting the venue can attend an open public meeting at Aberdeen Arts Centre on Tuesday, May 27 at 6.30pm. Register your interest here: https://www.aberdeenartscentre.com/whats-on/save-aberdeen-arts-centre-open-public-meeting
