The company says it has grown “exponentially” over recent years, adding 67% to its factoring portfolio and 93% in 2014. In the first quarter of 2015, the company has achieved a further 70% growth to this number.
In part, Watt & Co says this growth is due awards from a number of housebuilders – including Dandara, Bancon Homes and Scotia – alongside the securing of instructions from developments looking to change factor. The company has also added properties which may not have utilised a factoring service previously.
Managing Director Ross Watt is delighted with the firms continued growth. He said: “It is fantastic to see our customer base expanding at such a dramatic rate.
“We entered the factoring market in order to offer owners of flatted developments a focused, transparent communal management service and our consistently increasing portfolio is testament to both the excellent customer service on offer and the dedication of our staff.
“We are particularly pleased with the reception of our granite tenement management service. Many granite tenements throughout Aberdeen are in dire need of maintenance attention and our factoring packages seek to address this need in an effective and cost efficient manner.
“As 2015 progresses, I am proud of what we have achieved here at Watt & Co. and we continue to seek out new developments to offer our services to. As we continue to grow we are constantly evaluating our business and ensuring that the foundations are there to support our ongoing expansion”
