Weightman Digital, an Aberdeen-based digital marketing company, won the ‘Social Media Award’ at the Motor Trader Awards last week held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
It is their second industry award of the year, having already won ‘Best use of Video’ at the AM Awards in Birmingham in February 2017.
The Scottish marketing company’s work for the Suzuki brand is gaining more recognition and the announcement highlights the demand for their services, working with local companies in the north-east of Scotland, across the UK, to Dubai and the US.
The ‘Social Media Award’ was presented for delivering the best social media presence in the UK car retailing sector, which engaged customers and drove sales. Luscombe Suzuki Leeds, whose account is managed by Weightman Digital, were announced ‘Social Media’ winners at the highly-coveted Motor Trader awards, the biggest night in the retail motor industry calendar.
“Through its well thought-out social media strategy, Luscombe Suzuki Leeds successfully punched above its weight in terms of customer engagement and reach,” said the Motor Trader Awards judging panel.
