WELL services firm Altus Intervention has secured a new five-year contract with TAQA for the provision of coiled tubing, pumping, wireline and e-line services.

Altus, based in Portlethen, has been working with TAQA to implement solutions across a full range of intervention techniques, integrating critical technology into large scale equipment spreads.

The award of the contract, the value of which has not been disclosed, will mean working with TAQA on its well intervention approaches to deliver operational efficiency targets, with safety at the forefront.

Garry Michie, Altus Intervention UK president, said: “We are proud of the work we have done over the years for TAQA and see this award as an important step in continuing our work with them to find new ways to approach well challenges at a critical time for the industry.”
