Citymoves Spring Show

A brilliant variety of dance at its best! The show brings together a community of dancers who have a passion for theatre, dance, and the arts to celebrate live performance and showcase a variety of dance genres, from contemporary to Latin American and jazz to Highland dancing. Featuring performance groups from Citymoves, as well as dance schools, academies, and arts organisations from around Scotland, you don’t want to miss Citymoves’ annual celebration of ensemble dance!

Aberdeen University Show Choir Spring Show

Come and join us for a fun-filled evening of singing and dancing! With everything from musicals to country, rock to cheesy pop, we’ve got it all. AUSC is a no-audition group that rehearses weekly to work towards this performance every year. With a mixture of solos, group numbers and full choir pieces, there’s something for all the family to enjoy.

Aberdeen Scout Gang Show: Game On

Get your head in the game and roll the dice for some fun with Aberdeen Scout Gang Show 2025. A cast of 60 Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Leaders deal up two hours of fast-moving musical numbers and fun sketches inspired by some of our favourite board games. Monopoly, Buckaroo and Dungeons and Dragons share the stage with Chess, Operation and Cluedo in a show that’s guaranteed to be fun for all the family. A spectacular show by Lamour School of Dance! Join the talented performers for an unforgettable celebration of movement and music – from Broadway to pop hits! Be dazzled by routines inspired by iconic musicals and popular music. A night of rhythm, passion, and joy – don’t miss out!

26-29 March, 7pm – Dance

The Last 10 Years

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Natalie Tough School of Dance is taking to the stage once again in a showcase of the biggest events, movies and music over ‘The Last 10 Years‘. Students from as young as 2 up to and including young adults, will perform in an array of styles from ballet to acrobatics, and musical theatre to tap. Come and join us for an evening of entertainment as we reminisce on the past decade.

Creative Learning

Wednesdays from 26 February, 7.30-9pm

Drama Toolbox

This welcoming and relaxed class is open to anyone aged 18+. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced performer looking for a fresh challenge, this session is the perfect way to explore your creative potential. With a shared focus on devising and working from scripts, you’ll work together to explore the potential of live performance.

Pay weekly: £10 per class / Block of 5 classes: £40 / First Week Free!

Art Toolbox

No matter where you are on your artistic journey, Art Toolbox offers a space to experiment, learn, and develop your skills at your own pace. In this mixed media class for ages 18+, you’ll have the freedom to explore a variety of materials and techniques while receiving plenty of individual attention due to our intimate class size. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover new creative possibilities and find your unique artistic voice. All materials & equipment provided.

From stepping on stage to putting pen to paper, Aberdeen Arts Centre’s Creative Learning sessions for young people and adults encourage a lifetime of creativity.

Sessions for young people include:

·        Castlegate Theatre Company, age 12-17, Wednesday, 12-17

·        Creative Play, age 3-4, Saturday, 10-11am

·        Creative Writing & Illustration, age 8-14ish, Saturday, 11.30am-12.30pm

·        Drama & Storytelling, age 5-7, Saturday, 10-11am

·        Drama, age 12-15ish, Saturday, 11.30am-12.30pm

·        Drama, age 8-11ish, Saturday, 10-11am

·        Imagination Bubble, age 0-5, Friday, 10-11.30am

·        Stage Crafts, age 8-14ish, Saturday, 10-11.30am

Sessions for adults include:

·        AAC Songwriter Sessions, age 16+, new dates TBC

·        Art Toolbox, age 18+, Saturday, 12.30-2pm

·        Drama Toolbox, age 18+, Wednesday, 7.30-9pm
