Whisky Week will make its highly anticipated return to the Granite City this August, offering whisky lovers the chance to enjoy exclusive drams and events across a host of popular city venues.
Running from 21–31 August 2025, the ten-day celebration will see more than ten bars, pubs and venues across Aberdeen taking part in the second annual staging of the festival.
Wristbands, which are available now for £6–£9, are required to access the programme of curated whisky tastings, tours, and limited edition pours from some of the finest producers in the business. Each participating bar will offer a unique selection of drams and host exclusive events throughout the week. Though the full schedule of activities is still to be announced, organisers promise a rich mix of tastings, talks and experiences aimed at both seasoned whisky drinkers and newcomers alike.
In addition to unlocking access to venue-only drams and events, wristband holders will receive a printed guidebook and a venue map, helping attendees to plan their route and record the whiskies they sample along the way.
Whisky Week also shines a spotlight on the north-east’s long-standing connection with the whisky industry. With a heritage deeply rooted in the traditions of distilling and trading, the event aims to celebrate both the history and future of whisky in Aberdeen and beyond.
