WORK to replace the roof on the Town House Extension is to start on Monday (22 May 2023).
Visitors and staff entering the building, which is Grade A listed by association with the adjacent historic Town House, will continue to have full access as the works will not affect any surrounding roads or external doors.
The project includes the roof replacement and re-covering with single ply membrane and other works including installing rooftop ventilation equipment. The building will have a small amount of scaffolding.
The work is due to finish by mid-August (2023), depending on weather conditions.
