International engineering firm, the Seanamic Group, has appointed a new CEO to govern its four Group businesses.<\/p>\n
David Hutchinson joins the Group from Aker Solutions, where he led their Asia-Pacific region for five years and was latterly responsible for subsea business development in Europe\u00a0and Africa.<\/p>\n
[adbutler zone_id=’297765′]<\/span><\/p>\n In his new role, David will work across all four businesses: Caley Ocean Systems, IMES International, Flexlife, and Umbilicals International.\u00a0 He takes over from Martin Barnes, who simultaneously held the position of Managing Director of IMES International.<\/p>\n The Seanamic Group boasts nine offices and manufacturing facilities between the UK and Houston, Texas, and serves clients in the international energy, defence, seismic and oceanographic science industries.\u00a0 The Group is backed by the Piper Jaffray-managed Simmons Private Equity.<\/p>\n Commenting on his new role, Mr Hutchinson said: \u201cThe Seanamic Group companies have a strong individual history and identity, which we will evolve into an integrated, sustainable service for our clients.\u00a0 I look forward to working across our companies\u2019 hard-working talent pool to combine our capabilities and build on latest developments, including new facilities and technology.\u201d<\/p>\n Alan Brunnen, Chairman of the Seanamic Group, said: \u201cI would like to thank Martin Barnes for his hard work while managing IMES International and the Seanamic Group.\u00a0 He has overseen several changes for the Group which will have positive, lasting benefits for our customers.\u00a0 I am confident that under David\u2019s new leadership, the Seanamic Group will continue to integrate its operations and exceed clients\u2019 expectations.\u201d<\/p>\n [yikes-mailchimp form=”2″ title=”1″ description=”1″]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" International engineering firm, the Seanamic Group, has appointed a new CEO to govern its four Group businesses.
