Aer Lingus regional service between Dublin and Aberdeen takes off

AER Lingus Regional, exclusively operated by Emerald Airlines, has commenced its services from Aberdeen International Airport to Dublin. 

Passengers can now visit the capital of Ireland, and experience its rich history, cosmopolitan atmosphere along with many great independent shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Dublin is also home to a number of attractions including the 707 hectare Phoenix Park, National Museum of Ireland and the renowned Guinness Storehouse.

For visitors to the North East there is plenty beautiful countryside and coastline to discover as well the fantastic food and drink offering that Aberdeen has.

The Aberdeen-Dublin route also connects seamlessly with Aer Lingus’ transatlantic network from Dublin. Passengers can now fly to New York, Boston, and Chicago, via Dublin.  Those flying to the US can avail of the US Immigration Pre-clearance at Dublin Airport before they fly.

The ATR72-600 forms the backbone of Emerald Airlines’ growing fleet, with the average age of aircraft being 6 years. The ATR72-600 is the latest generation of turboprop aircraft combining unmatched environmental and economic performance. These ultra-low fuel burn aircraft emit up to 40% less CO₂ on these short, regional flights.
