The JEllie Foundation Comedy lunch, which has previously featured Al Murray as The Pub Landlord and Chris Ramsey, is organised by The JEllie Foundation and raises money for local children’s charities.

More than 200 guests will enjoy an intimate comedy performance which promises ‘belly laughs’, bubbles, fabulous food and memorable music by The London Essentials.

Known for their high energy performances and distinct delivery, The London Essentials perform acoustically as they move through the audience serenading and surprising the guests en route.

At the heart of The JEllie Foundation Comedy Lunch is the charity auction which will once again feature luxury, ‘can’t buy’ auction lots including original artwork commissioned for the event from Scottish contemporary artists.

Gillian and Graham, trustees of The JEllie Foundation and owners of The Chester Hotel, personally curate the auction lots to create a charity event like no other. Events run by The JEllie Foundation have raised more than £1million for local charities since 2017, when they held their first three-day Signature fine dining festival at the hotel.

Graham Wood said: “Gillian and I are thrilled to have secured Russell Kane for this year’s JEllie Foundation Comedy Lunch. Not only is he known for his legendary live stand up and his many TV appearances, but also for his hugely successful podcasts Evil Genius and Man Baggage.

“We are sure he will set the stage for another record-breaking fundraising day which will benefit children’s charities across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.”

Tickets, always at a premium for this sell out annual event on Sunday 26 November, are now available from the Signature Food Festival website www.signaturefoodfestival.co.ukat a price of £150 per person for groups of 2,4,6 and 10.
