“The vast array of winners shows the high standard involving members of all age groups across every section of the club.

“It was fantastic to have our successful Pro-Am back which featured players both from Ellon and across Scotland and we look forward to having another great event next year.

“McDonald Golf Club plays a huge part in the community and the committee has done an excellent job in putting on more social events than ever before which have been extremely popular.

“In particular, I want to thank all of our staff, including our club professional, Sandy Aird Jnr, our secretary, Sandra Brockie, our greenkeepers who have kept the course in great condition and our excellent chef, Gordon Cuthbert.

“We have also had a large number of enthusiastic members who have given up their time and experience to help with volunteering over the season which shows the phenomenal spirit that we have within the club.

“I wish all members the very best and look forward to another fantastic season next year.”
