The over 18s venue has worked closely with local vendors to create a decked-out bar serving bespoke cocktails curated by 10 Dollar Shake, Fierce Beer IPAs on draught and slices of Big Mannys’ Pizza to accompany your video gaming experience.

Gillian Gallan, General Manager of Arcadia Bar & Games, said: “This has been a huge project to bring to life and we couldn’t have done it without the collaboration of local artists, mixologists and vendors. We’d like to thank our dedicated team of joiners, technicians and cleaning crew who worked tirelessly to prepare the bar for opening. We’re bringing something entirely different to the bar scene in Aberdeen and best of all, we’re bringing it to Union Street specifically. We hope that we can help to be part of the reinvigoration of Union Street that many have been hoping for.”

Arcadia Bar & Games hopes to offer visitors something fresh and exciting through the lens of retro nostalgia, with a venue quite unlike any other within Aberdeen city. Visitors to the venue will be greeted with bright, bold mural art featuring beloved retro video game characters. The two levels of the venue each have a bar, seating area and a large collection of arcade games to enjoy over drinks and pizza.

Hold on tight to your joysticks and press any button to begin – Arcadia Bar & Games is set to take the Aberdeen bar scene to a whole new level.
