A NEW housing development in Johnshaven has been given planning permission.
The Beaches development, located on the Brotherton Estate, will be built by Fotheringham Homes.

The 70 homes will be a mixture of two and three bedroom bungalows along with three and four detached houses.
Michael Fotheringham, director of Fotheringham Homes said: “We are delighted to get the go ahead for this development and look forward to starting construction shortly when restrictions have been lifted and it’s safe to do so.”
Construction is due to get underway towards the end of the year.
