VisitAberdeenshire is continuing to encourage North-east residents to explore Aberdeen city this spring, with its latest ‘Make a day of it’ promotion.

VisitAberdeenshire’s multi-channel advertising campaign, delivered in partnership with DC Thomson and supported by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund through Aberdeen City Council – will feature digital display ads, a pull-out supplement and features within the Press & Journal, online articles on the Press & Journal’s website, with inspirational content to be shared across DC Thomson’s social media channels.

Chris Foy, CEO, VisitAberdeenshire, said: “We are inviting people of the North-east to discover something new or rediscover a long-forgotten gem this spring.

“The campaign celebrates what makes a day in Aberdeen a truly unique experience – from the city’s award-winning cultural attractions, excellent food and drink options to the wide-open spaces of our parks and beach.”

The current ‘Make a day of it’ campaign is the second of four waves of Aberdeen-focused promotion, with further campaigns planned later in 2024 and into 2025.

Aberdeen City Council Culture spokesperson, Councillor Martin Greig said: “Spring is an excellent time for everyone to rediscover new and familiar places in our area. There is such a wide range of interesting venues and activities to enjoy locally. It’s good to take the opportunity to visit and revisit somewhere special and make a day of it.”
