Nine staff promotions for Ledingham Chalmers

Full service legal firm Ledingham Chalmers LLP has announced nine staff promotions across four departments.

The corporate team based in Aberdeen has seen the most change with four members of the team gaining more senior roles. The commercial property and litigation departments each have one person promoted while the private client unit has celebrated the career progress of three solicitors including Craig Pike who has been named as the newest partner.

The 37 year-old joined Ledingham Chalmers LLP nine years ago as a trainee solicitor and has relished building his career with the firm.

He said: “Private client work is a people-driven environment, something I enjoy very much. I meet and try to help people cope with situations at difficult times in their lives. I often draft wills, power of attorney and deal with other issues on behalf of people who are unwell or older.

“I feel privileged to have the opportunity to meet a wide variety of people and execute their instruction with the utmost attention to detail and rigour while maintaining a friendly, approachable service.

“Ledingham Chalmers LLP is a firm able to provide a genuine and quality legal service to its varied client base. I was proud to gain a place here as a trainee almost a decade ago and am now thrilled to become a partner.”
