Northeast TAC Healthcare Group announces key appointment in Occupational Health Division

ABERDEEN-based TAC Healthcare Group today (Tuesday 5th July) announces the appointment of Kris Muirhead as Offshore Resourcing Manager, further strengthening its growing medical services team.  Kris has a wealth of experience in remote medicine and was previously Regimental Sergeant Major in the Royal Army Medical Corps, spending over 23 years in the Armed Forces.

Starting his army career as a Combat Medical Technician and being the first line of medical attention in a combat zone, Kris is trained in the procedures and principles of advanced trauma life support and tropical medicine. He has travelled the world where he has utilised his vast skill set and operational experience in countries including Kosovo, Northern Ireland, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen and Dijbouti.

Kris will be responsible for delivering the company’s remote healthcare offering and supporting TAC’s work with the energy industry. He will oversee the management of the offshore medics, further enhancing the process, policy, and delivery of this key service.

Speaking of the new appointment Ronan Jennings, Occupational Health Director at TAC Healthcare Group, said: “Over a 6-month period we have seen our team of medics’ quadruple in size. Kris’ experience managing over 400 army medical personnel, together with his vision, structure and organisational skills will assist in delivering the quality of service our clients need and expect.”
