SMOKE AND Soul, who have recently taken over Six Degrees North bar on Littlejohn Street, are in the process of transforming the venue into THE FIREPIT, with the help of their ongoing crowdfunding campaign. The team wish to bring their signature events and community spirit from their Smokehouse in Bridge of Don to the heart of the city and have a number of events in the pipeline for 2024.
With their exciting crowdfunder in progress, Smoke and Soul have rolled up their sleeves and kicked off serious renovations of the bar. With a new cozy decor and fireplaces on the go, The Firepit team have decided it’s time to spread the Christmas Spirit of hosting and giving with their Santa Paws Charity Fundraising Event.

Talking about the upcoming event, co-owner Lindsay said: “ this is an event the bar has done previously and one we were keen to revive, as Mrs Murray’s is a charity close to our hearts. We have rescued a number of beloved family pets through the home and would love to support them with keeping the animals warm over winter and their efforts to find their forever homes in 2024”.
This event aims to support a local charity close to their hearts – Mrs Murray’s Home for Stray Dogs and Cats. As winter sets in, Santa Paws warmly invites both humans and their beloved four-legged companions to partake in the festive cheer while contributing to a noble cause.
Scheduled for Sunday, December 10th, from 12 pm to 4 pm at The Firepit, 6 Littlejohn St, Aberdeen AB10 1FF, Santa Paws promises an afternoon brimming with joy and goodwill. Santa Paws is the opportunity for pups to be professionally photographed with Smoke and Soul’s very own Santa – ‘Corey Claus.’, with proceeds from ticket sales being donated to Mrs Murray’s Home for Stray Dogs and Cats; supporting their tireless efforts especially in the upcoming winter.
Tickets for Santa Paws are £10 each and available via the designated booking link on the company’s social media or directly on their website. Additional dogs can join in for just £5, paid on the day.
