WORKFLO Solutions, the fast-expanding outsourced managed services company, has welcomed David Rankine back into its team as it gears up for further expansion of its core services across the UK.
David Rankine re-joins the business following a spell as a freelance IT consultant to take on a newly created role – Managed Service Specialist – which sees him have overall responsibility for all Managed Services activities within the organisation, providing technical expertise to prepare value-add innovation for new and existing platforms, and overseeing complex migrations solutions for Workflo’s 1000-strong UK-wide client base.

His core specialism will be to identify customer needs for operational support, assessments, and to support framework adoption of areas such as Managed Hosting Services, Cloud, and Infrastructure solutions.
David commented:
“I’ve decided to return to Workflo Solutions to continue on my path of ensuring clients have the most agile and stable systems in place. Even prior to lockdown I preached about the value of cloud-based services, which was proven throughout, and I look forward to more cloud ‘evangelism’.”
David’s previous role within the company was IT Services Manager (West) where he covered a territory patch across Scotland and the north of England, where he led, the shift from hardware infrastructure to Cloud-based migration – a critical path for many of Workflo Solutions’ clients, and this gave him a chance to identify ways of helping them streamline operational efficiencies to create a more ‘leaner’ working environment.
